Functionality Overview

When users move through many cases to perform tasks and these cases are not closed before moving to the following case, often the Open Cases section in Case Manager gets cluttered with many irrelevant cases. The Close Cases At Login Extension (or, optionally, the Auto-Close Cases Extension) can help to address this problem.

The Close Cases At Login Extenstion is a very simple extension without any visual funtionality components. When enabled, this extension runs an additional process when a user logs into Case Manager to close the cases of the user (that is, remove from the Open Cases section). Only cases without an open activity will be closed. This bulk close process will only on login.
